Your data, and how we handle it
CupidsLogic helps adults understand their relationship compatibility. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and — importantly — how long we keep it before deleting it.
What we collect
Depending on which part of the service you use, we may collect:
- Personal letter requests: your first name, email address, age range, relationship status, the relationship challenge you select, and anything you choose to write in the optional notes field.
- Compatibility reports: the answers you and your partner provide in the assessment questionnaire.
- Payment: if you purchase a report, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number; Stripe handles it directly.
Why we collect it
- To generate and deliver your personalized letter or compatibility report.
- To email your results to the address you provide.
- To process payment for paid reports.
- To send you relationship insights and offers — only if you have explicitly opted in.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to operate:
- Anthropic — the text you submit is processed by an AI service to generate your letter or report.
- Brevo — used to deliver email to you.
- Stripe — used to process payments.
How long we keep it
Personal letter lead data is automatically deleted after 12 months. Our system removes records older than that on an ongoing basis, so we don't hold your details longer than we need to.
Compatibility report data is retained to give you continued access to your report. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).
Marketing
We only send marketing email if you check the optional consent box when requesting your letter. Your letter is sent whether or not you opt in. If you do opt in, every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, email [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL] and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on our servers. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Age
CupidsLogic is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
